ABOUT ME

I'm Joe Krohn, owner of Paramount Home Inspection of Texas. I bring over 24 years of combined experience from the home inspection, construction and building maintenance industries to my inspection business. Not only do I know 'the bones' of the structure, but I have seen the problems that can occur in buildings from lack of maintenance or from poor workmanship and/or materials. 

I successfully completed the stringent educational requirements (with very high marks; Over 490 hours of classroom instruction and 15 certificates from Texas State University) as laid out by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) to obtain my Professional Inspectors License. I then proceeded to score very high on the rigorous licensing exams; passing all of them on the first try when over 40% of test takers at the time failed on the first attempt.  I also complete 32 hours of continuing education during the two years between license renewals as required by TREC. In addition, I continually educate myself as there is always something new to learn.

Some time ago when my wife and I were looking for a home, we employed the services of a professional home inspector. We came to realize very quickly the value of a quality inspection as we were able to avoid a purchase that would have cost us thousands of dollars in repairs. It was then I decided I wanted to help people the same way we were.

Many people these days don't have the time or the expertise to adequately examine the home they are interested in buying. I combine my experience and education to successfully fill the needs of  those I serve.

I enjoy spending time with my wife, Lisa and two rescue dogs, Bo and Tanner. I also like being outdoors and keeping in tip top shape.
